There are many winter days in Boulder where the morning bike commute does not quite warrent the full protection of shoe covers but a thin cycling sock will just not keep the toes warm. On these mornings the Heavyweight HIKE/TREK is perfect. It fits well in a cycling shoe and keeps my feet warm on the bike but not overheated in the office during the day.
